• Work on a project alone or lead a team.

• Give on-site training to painters and preppers.

• Make sure job sites are set up properly.

• Set daily goals.

• Frequently check in with the team to ensure goals are being met, and quality is assured.

• Ensure the project sight stays clean and organized throughout the day and at the end of it.

• Have conversations with contractors/clients about project flow and be able to answer day-to-day questions.

• Handle small disciplinary issues.

• Apply paint to surfaces including walls, floors, doors, and cabinets.

• Apply several coats according to directions.

• Apply touchups or second coats.

• Utilize spray guns for large jobs.

• Work on ladders to reach high ceilings or walls.

• Scrape, sandpaper, prime, or seal surfaces prior to painting.

• Clean walls to ensure proper adherence.

• Cover surfaces to ensure protection.

• ​Preparing the surface prior to painting.

• A prepper will be able to apply a full coat of primer on surfaces, and will also prime specific sections that need it.

• Exterior Caulking: Preppers will be able to identify areas where caulking is needed, and will caulk exterior siding and trim.

• Set Up/Breakdown: Preppers will be responsible for setting up job sites in the morning.

• Cleaning drops/tarps as they are moved throughout the day.

• Making sure areas are vacuumed/swept clean at the end of every day.
